This is what Cece Jewellery founder Cece Fein-Hughes has recently undertaken to create. But interestingly enough, the request came from another popular celebrity.
Gigi Hadid was tipped off to a Cece Jewellery social media campaign. She was asking her Instagram followers to guess the famous pets that Cece featured in sketches of her jewellery designs.
“So we included Taylor Swift's cat, Benjamin Button. After he debuted on the cover of Time,” Fein-Hughes tells JCK.
“Gigi had been following our journey for a long time. So when she saw the post, she sent us a DM asking us to buy it for Taylor. So we started working on it right away. I was thrilled to hear that Gigi said Taylor loved it. But we hope to see her wearing it soon.”.
Benjamin Button, co-starred with Time's Person of the Year on the cover of the magazine. So Benjamin Button is the focus of the bespoke design. He is depicted on the surface of the ring in an oval shape. It is surrounded by a pearl outline and accented with a twin diamond star.
Set in hearts on the ring's arms is Swift's famous favourite number (13) on one side and 87 - the jersey number of her NFL favourite, Travis Kelce - on the other. And on the inside of the ring, a message about Swift's most recent album, TTPD, which stands for The Tortured Poets Department.
“It was a great honor to create a piece for Taylor Swift, which was given to her by her best friend Gigi, which made it even more special,” Fein-Hughes says. “We create custom pet portraits all the time. So to make one for one of the most famous cats in the world, for the icon that is Taylor Swift, was a dream come true.”.
