Watches and Wonders: This year's event is considered a milestone.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 aims to be a celebration of creativity and expertise, confirming Geneva's role as a global hub for watchmaking.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 has opened its doors, and with its 65 exhibitors, it will be the largest watchmaking gathering ever organized in Geneva. The event further solidifies Geneva's role as the capital of watchmaking. Its program is evolving to offer a new experience, from the salon, the central exhibition, to the parallel events in the heart of the city.

This year's edition marks a new milestone, as 11 new brands are participating. With Audemars Piguet being the most prominent addition, bringing the total number of exhibitors to a record high.

The exhibition will be hosted, as every year, at Palexpo. While the public will have access on the last three days, from April 18th to 20th.

At the same time, the events program is significantly expanding throughout the city with “In The City.” This event transforms Geneva into a vibrant stage dedicated to watchmaking. Exhibitions, activities, and experiences create a multifaceted atmosphere, open to both professionals and the general public.

Watches and Wonders Geneva has evolved into one of the most important international industry gatherings. It brings together thousands of professionals, journalists, and visitors from all over the world.

This year, approximately 60,000 visitors, 1,700 journalists, and over 6,000 retailers are expected. While around 50,000 overnight stays have already been booked, the initial indicators for the 2026 edition are particularly encouraging. Stores, cultural institutions, watch boutiques, and local partners will join forces to offer exhibitions, talks, activities, and immersive experiences.

One of the elements that has boosted the event's popularity is its outward focus on the public. The «Watchmaking Village» and the city-wide activities create a more accessible and experiential event. Bringing the art of watchmaking closer to everyone.

Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 aims to be a celebration of creativity and expertise. It will thus reaffirm Geneva's role as the global center of watchmaking. It will also highlight the future of a constantly evolving industry.

This evolution is also confirmed by the new generation. The previous event confirmed the strong interest of young people, with 25% of the tickets going to people under 25 years old.

Opening the salon to the public for three days of exploration was very helpful. As Matthieu Humair, CEO of the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation, aptly stated: «Watches and Wonders Geneva is a place that brings people together, inspires, and guides the industry. Together, we are building the watchmaking of tomorrow. We want to continue to shape time and pass on the art of watchmaking with meaning and passion to future generations.».

Regarding the events in the city center, throughout the week, Geneva transforms into an open watchmaking stage. The free cultural program is enhanced thanks to an outstanding collaboration with the Montreux Jazz Club, adding an unprecedented artistic and emotional dimension. Shops, cultural institutions, watch boutiques, and local partners will join forces to offer exhibitions, talks, activities, and immersive experiences.
