Vicenzaoro recorded a 6% increase in total visitors at the September show. Foreign participation reached 50% with 132 countries represented and with many new presences.

Foreign visitors, 52% are from EU countries, 17% from Asia and the Middle East. Another 11% from America, 4% from Africa and 1% from Oceania. Spain, Germany and France are the most representative of Europe. But the United States holds the first place in the ranking of non-EU visitors.

The exhibition saw a significant increase in arrivals from various countries. Such as Switzerland (+46%), Belgium (+25%), the United Arab Emirates (23%) and Turkey (+6%). Among the new arrivals, on the contrary, African countries have been recorded. Such as Mozambique, Ghana, Mauritius, Benin, Zambia, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Zambia and Kenya. In addition, new entries were recorded from more distant countries such as the Virgin Islands, Mongolia, New Zealand and Vanuatu.

Vicenzaoro's September confirms the stability of the Italian gold and jewellery sector. With an increase in turnover (+10.2% in the first half) and exports (+9.3% in the first five months) of the “Made in Italy”.

The stability of the sector was also confirmed by the Minister of “Made in Italy”, Adolfo Urso, in his welcoming message at the Vicenzaoro opening ceremony. It began with a tribute to President Lorenzo Cagnoni who recently passed away.

These figures highlight the important role of Vicenzaoro as a catalyst for Italian exports in an international context. Vicenzaoro remains a reference point for major international buyers. It hosted 400 foreign buyers in a programme organised by ICE and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Through Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting's collaboration with IEG and under the direction of Paola De Luca, the latest trends in jewellery are presented at Vicenzaoro September. It gives a preview of the path that designers, the market and consumers will take over the next 18 months through the presentation of Trendbook 2025+.This event is a benchmark for the entire community interested in understanding the future of the industry. It explores key issues such as the impact of artificial intelligence on human creativity in jewellery design. With discussions both in Trendbook and in the international seminars leading up to the World Congress in Jaipur in October.

Vicenzaoro is also consolidating its presence in the watchmaking sector. With the participation of a community of TIME B2B operators and the organization of the VO'Clock Privè event, open to the B2C public.

In total, around sixty companies from the watch industry participated. Both in the exhibition part and in the discussions and seminars that bring together experts and enthusiasts of the industry.

A joint programme of events between the IEG, the municipal authority and the economic sectors, together with various local actors, brought VIOFF, the Vicenzaoro Fuori Fiera, to life. This programme offers Italian and international visitors the opportunity to discover Vicenza. Through experiences related to food and wine, artistic heritage and museums in key points of the city, making it the capital of jewellery.

In terms of visibility, Vicenzaoro September's 2023 report recorded a total of 134,830,414 million average gross transactions both in Italy and abroad. Vicenzaoro's social media had almost 20 million views (impressions) during the exhibition. The views by professional operators on exhibitors' profiles on the B2B platform The Jewellery Golden Cloud exceeded 150,000, with an increase of 15% compared to the previous year.

Finally, Vicenzaoro September also became an international benchmark for the participation of important institutional and trade union organisations. Such as Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato Orafi, Confcommercio Federpreziosi, CNA Orafi, Confimi Industria Categoria Orafa ed Argentiera, Assogemme, Assocoral and AFEMO, the Association of Jewellery Machinery Manufacturers and Exporters, CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, as well as MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and ICE (Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalisation of Italian companies).
