The power of colour and natural pearls.

New natural pearls and unusual combinations will be presented at Couture 2024. Assael harnesses the narrative power of colour.

Assael, a leading brand for magnificent pearls and exquisite corals, explores the evocative power of colour storytelling. With enchanting new designs in natural pearl shells, as well as new additions to the popular NatureScapes and Colors collections. These new jewels feature either rare pearls, such as shells, or unusual, lesser-known gemstones, such as dendritic agate, various types of jasper, petrified wood, mabe pearls and more. The new styles will debut at the 2024 Couture Show 2024 in Las Vegas. In addition, a new pearl jewelry collection for men will also debut.

«We have been exploring colour in our designs for several years. This is how we showcase the huge range of colour shades in our wonderful and rich Assael pearl stock. Our latest designs go beyond colour. They truly capture the quality of describing the story of some of the patterns we find in natural gemstones.” As Peggy Grosz, Senior Vice President and Creative Director of Assael, said.

«We exploit the landscapes within the dendritic agates, jaspers and petrified wood to evoke emotions and/or narratives. We also use diamonds to bring out the porcelain sparkle in rare natural pearls made from shells. Or we include mother-of-pearl and mabe pearls to highlight the natural pearl forming process itself. It's fascinating and most importantly, it feels very personal. Each client will respond to these unique gemstones in their own unique way.».

New Conch Pearl designs

Assael's large inventory of pearls of exceptional quality and fine gemstones includes natural pearls that are not mother-of-pearl. Such as the pink pearls made from shells. Grosz has combined some of the rarest, finest examples of pink shell pearls with diamonds, aquamarines and shell mother-of-pearl in beautiful new rings.

New Landscapes of Nature

Also, The Couture Show will feature new iterations of Assael's NatureScapes collection. This takes storytelling in jewellery design to the next level. Large, sliced boulder opals are paired with Fijian pearls and tanzanite pearls. Thus creating the «Porthole» earrings, reminiscent of the cabin windows on a Caribbean cruise. The sunset jasper is combined with vibrant Sardinian coral and tourmaline. Bringing to mind a fiery sunset over pristine blue waters on a rocky beach.

The «Sunset» striped chalcedony is topped with diamonds and cabochons of rare and responsibly sourced Angel Skin coral, creating a harmony of hues in truly stunning earrings. The new designs also use Fijian oyster shells with blister/mabe pearls, set with gold and diamonds, in very unique looks that pay homage to the natural pearl formation process.
