Jewellery “Inside Out”.

Hearts on Fire turns the jewelry “Inside Out” in their new collection.

The collection focuses on the art of tailoring, inspired by designs that feature folded fabrics, such as a tuxedo lapel.

«Inside Out» draws inspiration from couture, specifically from tuxedos and lapels, where the inside of the fabric becomes visible. The «Flip» bracelets seen above feature 18-karat yellow gold that has been folded over and set with pavé diamonds.

Boston-Hearts On Fire has pre-launched its new «Inside Out» collection exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman.

The collection includes 28 pieces inspired by the art of bespoke tailoring as a celebration of the transformative power of the perfect fit, Hearts On Fire said.

The craftsmanship, creativity and precision of the fabric of the sewing is reflected in the designs. In these, 18-carat yellow, rose and white gold appears fluidly bent and folded.

Pavé diamonds are also used to highlight the exposed «inner» half of the folded gold.

«Tailoring is an extraordinary art that combines precision, meticulous detail and personal expression. Like the art of fine jewellery, with every stitch and seam carrying intention and creativity.» Said Yunjo Lee, creative director of Hearts On Fire.

The Inside Out collection is more than just a tribute to the art of the tailor. It is a personal tribute. As Lee based the collection on her mother's experience as a seamstress and the look of folded fabrics.

«I have fond memories of playing with the leftover fabrics from my mother's sewing room. I still remember how fascinated I was by the endless possibilities through the art of turning fabrics into different canvases,» Lee said.

Creative director Yunjo Lee sought out the tuxedo design when she created the “Inside Out” collection. Lee's sketches for the «Flip» pieces are shown in the middle.

She especially liked the timeless elegance of a tuxedo. So she wanted to transfer the sense of confidence, strength and sophistication of the design from the fabric to the jewellery.

«Mimicking the process of a tailor's craft, we deliberately chose to work with cutting paper and folding it into specific shapes. When the silhouettes came to life with a simple fold, I felt a refreshing sense of discovery. In that moment, we knew we had uncovered a visually prominent and striking focal point. That's what really gives the design its character,» said Lee.

Hearts On Fire previewed the collection during the trunk show at Bergdorf Goodman on January 29. Along with new creations from the «Barre» collection that debuted in June 2024.

The exclusive curation is available in-store and online at Bergdorf Goodman until February 25.

Inside Out includes bracelets, pendants, necklaces, rings and earrings ranging from $2,350 to $69,000.

The collection will be available worldwide in April in selected retailers, boutiques and on the Hearts On Fire website.
