The trend in jewellery for winter 24/25.

The heartcore trend extends to jewellery, this season and beyond. Every season has its own trend in jewelry.

Lately we have noticed that a trend has been strongly prevailing. It is no longer reserved for Valentine's Day or for passionate declarations of love. The heart in accessories is taking away its romantic significance to take on an even more stylistic dimension. Under the name heartcore , the trend of heart jewelry has become one of the most popular trends of the moment.

In April 2021, Alessandro Michele, still at the helm of Gucci's collections, presented a heart-shaped bag. It was designed as a symbol of romance, for the Italian brand's centenary. The motif would later appear on the silhouettes of several fashion houses. Like Chanel, where for spring/summer 2022 we saw jeweled bags in the show. They were also inspired by a cult piece created by Karl Lagerfeld for the house in 1995.

The heartcore trend is still here and it's even more relevant than ever. But now designers are adapting their creations in more subtle ways. The proof is in Chanel's fall/winter 2024/2025 runway jewelry for Chanel.

Next season, hearts will continue to beat louder. This was confirmed by Valentino - under the direction of Alessandro Michele. But also Balenciaga and Off-White at Paris Fashion Week for spring/summer 2025.

How to wear the heart jewelry trend

The symbol has been ubiquitous on the catwalks and now it is expanding into jewellery, redefining traditional pieces. When the jewellery does not directly borrow its shape, the heart hangs from large rings. It also composes beautiful earrings or even round signet rings. Forget minimalism, because the heartcore trend is renewed in a chunky 90s feel. The only rule to follow? Well, choose gold jewelry and textures. Here are some inspiring looks and the purchases you can recreate them with.

Earrings, Alaia.
Necklace, Roxanne Asoulin.
