The Tallulah Willis antique engagement ring.

Tallulah Willis adds magic to the antique engagement ring. The 4-carat, old mine-cut brilliant-cut diamond engagement ring was designed by Willis and Karina Noel, a New York-based brand.

Tallulah Willis is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. She worked with designer Karina Rousou of Karina Noel to create her engagement ring. They used an antique fancy light brown-yellow diamond with VS1 clarity, set in 22-carat yellow gold.

Tallulah Willis, the 31-year-old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, unveiled her engagement ring to musician Justin Acee on March 22, following his December 2024 proposal.

Willis worked with New York-based designer Karina Rousou of Karina Noel to design the ring. Together, Rousou and Willis chose a 4.03-carat fancy light brown-yellow VS1 clarity diamond.

The brilliant-cut stone from an old mine was set in 22-carat yellow gold with a «special hand-applied finish». It was made by a master jeweler and took «a long time» to perfect, Rousou said.

Rousou said the antique diamond was purchased from one of her closest suppliers of antique stones and jewelry.

«I never knew a ring could encapsulate a love so perfectly.» Willis said in the caption of her Instagram post debuting her ring.

Willis sought out ancient inspirations and materials when deciding on the design of her ring.

In a video she posted on Instagram, she said the setting of the ring, especially the curves, reminds her of an ancient vase or jar, like an amphora.

«It's very feminine,» she said of the shape.

In ancient Greece, these amphorae were used to transport olives, cereals, oil and wine. But they were also often given as prizes at the Panathenaic Festivals, according to the encyclopedia Britannica.

He went on to say: «I think it's very special when you can add a little bit of magic to something.».

While Willis unveiled her engagement ring last month, the couple announced their engagement on December 23, 2024. Acee initially proposed to her with a different ring.

The first ring Willis received was a yellow gold eternity ring, which turned out not to suit her. After appearing without her engagement ring, she told People in February that «I'm going to fix it.».

“I got an eternity ring, but it hurt. It made my finger bleed, so I thought that wasn't for me.”.

Upon receiving the ring she helped co-design, Willis responded to comments about her previous ring. “It ended up not working because that style can be very uncomfortable and I felt like it was causing me aesthetic issues. This style sits better on the finger.”.

She also explained that the stone from her previous ring was sold to a diamond collector in Texas.

Rousou and Willis have previously collaborated on an engagement ring. When Willis got engaged to director Dillon Buss in 2021, she received a custom-made Karina Noel ring. The ring had an emerald-cut diamond with a four-prong setting on a solitaire, People reported in May 2021.

Since making the change to her new engagement ring, Willis has joined Natalie Portman, Ellie Goulding and Behati Prinsloo. They all received old mine cut stones in their engagement rings.

Vintage cutting is also one of this year's predicted bridal trends, along with single-stone wedding rings.
