The jewels that shone at the Grammys.

The artists accentuated the clothes and themes of their albums with glittering jewelry.

The Grammys, the first event of the awards season since the devastating fires in Los Angeles, raised significant funds to address the crisis with MusiCares.

During the program several artists performed classic songs about California. Many, especially those from Los Angeles, such as Billie Eilish, made their love for the city known. Kendrick Lamar dedicated his Grammy for Album of the Year to Los Angeles and talked about «continuing to restore the city.» And album of the year was awarded to Beyoncé for «Cowboy Carter» by members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

While the tragedy was acknowledged throughout the ceremony, no one threw in their personal sense of style. After all, it's still the City of Dreams and seeing the old glamorous atmosphere was also refreshing.

Many women, and women dominated the nominations, enhanced the themes of their albums with their clothes and jewellery. This gave a layered sense of meaning to the best performances. When several received their Grammys, they added to the essential quality by recognizing all sorts of issues of the day, from DEI to immigration to workers' rights. It all contributed to an incredibly moving Grammy.

Beyoncé referenced her Cowboy Carter album with her Cowboy couture collection. A beige bandana-themed Schiaparelli dress and gloves. She brightened up her look with earrings by her favorite jewelry designer and longtime friend Lorraine Schwartz.

The bespoke jewellery was set with natural pearls. They were surrounded by cognac diamonds and drops of 50 carat cognac diamonds.

Taylor Swift also wore custom Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, on which she collaborated with the designer.

The jewellery matched Vivienne Westwood's red mini dress. It was similar to the white Vivienne Westwood dress she wore during The Tortured Poets Department section of the Eras Tour. Also the one she wore when she announced the album at the Grammys last year.

As for the red color, it's a Taylor signature with the red lips and the Red album. But the thought is that red was also for Travis Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs playing in the Super Bowl.

The breakdown of the pieces included a ruby and spinel ring and earrings with waterfall rubies climbing up the ear.

The «pièce de resistance» was a chain with rubies and a hanging T. It was hung (somehow) around her leg.

It refers to a phrase from the TTPD song, «Guilty as Sin». «So what if it's got ‘mine’ written on the top of my thigh.» The T is for Travis.

Lady Gaga's red carpet dress was the same goth dress by Samuel Lewis. She also wore it in the music video «Disease» from the album Mayhem, out March 7.

For the Grammys she updated her look with an early 1930s necklace from the Tiffany archives. The jewelry was designed by Meta Overbeck. One of the extraordinary women who worked under the direction of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

Gaga kept the jewelry during the ceremony when she changed into an off-the-shoulder dress. But the details were a little more visible on TV.

The historic piece features a tourmaline in a gold pendant accented with onyx and pearls. The double gold chain is also detailed with pearls.

Almost everything Sabrina Carpenter has been wearing lately seems to fit the theme of her album Short n’ Sweet.

On the Grammys red carpet, she got super cute in a particularly glamorous way. In a baby blue Jonathan Anderson dress that incorporated a diamond Chopard necklace from the Garden of Kalahari collection.

The piece helped (somehow) to hold the front of the dress together and hang in the back.

It features a 50-carat brilliant-cut D-flawless diamond surrounded by pear-shaped and brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are suspended from an 18.97 carats of pear-shaped diamonds, also set in a diamond set sauter with pavé diamonds.

Cynthia Erivo may not have released a new album. But she spoke on the red carpet about how her outfit was a reference to the song she was going to sing during the Grammys. It was «Fly Me To The Moon» during the tribute to Quincy Jones.

As usual, the superstar was decked out in jewelry. So much so that her huge diamond engagement ring and the wedding ring on the third finger of her left hand went almost unnoticed.

It seems that Cynthia Erivo is married to her longtime partner Lena Waithe. A trip online reveals details that there was another ring. She doesn't wear them all the time though.

And this jewel, which looks like a cushion-cut diamond of epic proportions, appears to be somewhat new. Anyway, I think compliments are in order for the low-key couple.
