Vicenzaoro 2022 closed on a positive note.

The March edition of Vicenzaoro - The Jewellery Boutique Show, the first European rendezvous for the gold and jewellery industry, was a success.

Visitors were “welcomed” by Lorenzo Quinn's installation “Give”. A message of peace right at the entrance of the exhibition and recorded an increase of 24% compared to the September 2021 version.

Five days of business, exhibitions, education, roundtables and discussions, in conjunction with T. Gold. The international exhibition of machinery and advanced technologies for jewellery design and production. Vicenzaoro confirms itself as an international reference centre for the jewellery supply chain. Also as a physical business platform, but with digital extensions. Even as a training centre for sustainability, innovation, trends and watchmaking for the entire chain. High-end, jewellery, components and semi-finished products, diamonds, precious and coloured stones, processing technologies, visual merchandising and packaging.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Vicenzaoro has gathered a healthy and solid business fabric.

With concrete perspectives for the over 1000 exhibiting brands (more than 140 at T. Gold), the 300 buyers who were there, as well as students, designers, schools, institutions and media from all over the world. A single community, with VO'Clock Privé, the new salon dedicated to contemporary watchmaking open on the weekend and to an audience of enthusiasts, which debuted for the first time.

The international participation also included operators from 127 countries, with a particular participation from Spain (6.51 TTP3T of the total), Germany (6.41 TTP3T), the United States (6.31 TTP3T), Greece (5.31 TTP3T), France (5.21 TTP3T), for a total of 531 TTP3T.

A general optimism was palpable among the stands. Also thanks to IEG's ability to create new formats over the years, contributing to the sector's results, which we saw during the event. A 2021 turnover of €8.8 billion and growing Made in Italy exports +15.7% compared to 2019 (+54% for 2020), with double-digit growth compared to 2019 to the US and the UAE (non-EU exports worth 75%).

Finally, in Vicenzaoro we saw a coherent presence of actors and associations. Some of them are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the ICE Agency, Confindustria Federorafi, Confartigianato Orafi, Confcommercio Federpreziosi, CNA Orafi, Confimi Industria Goldsmith and Category Argentiera, Assocoral, AFEMO - Association of Jewellery Machinery Exporters, at international level CIBJO - World Jewellery Confederation which held its General Assembly at the fair and FHH - Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie.

Vicenzaoro has renewed its appointment for September 9-13, 2022.
