40% increased the number of visitors to the Athens International Jewellery Show. It achieved the largest attendance of the decade.

The 35th Athens International Jewellery Show (AIJS), the 35th International Jewellery, Watches, Precious Stones, Machinery & Equipment Exhibition, was completed with the largest attendance in the last decade.

The exhibition took place from 3 to 6 March at the Metropolitan Expo in Attica. In particular, visitors - trade visitors as a whole - amounted to 4,500, an increase of 40% compared to last year.

The international character of the event was also enriched. With foreign trade visitors coming from countries such as the USA, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Switzerland and India.

A total of 373 exhibitors (235 directly and 138 indirectly represented houses) participated in the exhibition, which took place in an exhibition space of 12,000 square meters. An increase in size of 20% compared to the 2022 event.

Also, in the framework of this year's AIJS they held a training seminar entitled: «synthetic diamonds». The seminar aimed to highlight the similarities and highlight the differences between mineral and synthetic diamonds both at the laboratory and commercial level. The presenter was a qualified gemologist-diamondologist, appraiser, Mr. George Spyromilios.

The Athens International Jewellery Show is organised by TIF-HELEXPO and POVAKO (Panhellenic Federation of Craftsmen, Jewellers, Watchmakers). It is the largest exhibition of the industry in Greece and every year it highlights the new trends in gold, silver and watches. It also informs industry professionals about modern materials and styles. While it is the best springboard for partnerships between Greek and foreign companies.
