The deadline for applications for the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) educational scholarships for 2023 is fast approaching.
Interested candidates have until 30 September to apply for a scholarship for their GIA education fees.
These are scholarships for domestic and international students for on-campus and off-campus programmes.
GIA is offering a total of $2 million for all gemology and jewelry making courses in 2023.
Since 2010, GIA has awarded more than $17 million in scholarships to more than 4,000 students.
The use of scholarships is only for future courses and cannot be used for current courses.
Applicants must submit a letter of recommendation from a professional source and may submit a maximum of two letters.
