The ring of Emma D'Arcy
Even if you don't watch the “Game of Thrones” prequel “House of the Dragon” Emma D'Arcy may have entered the pop culture consciousness through the viral “Negroni Sbagliato” TikTok trend last year.
At the Golden Globes, the actress' oversized Acne Studios suit, blue gloves, blue hair and makeup proved her ability to go viral off stage.
While many actresses avoid rings when wearing gloves on the red carpet, D'Arcy wowed with a huge diamond ring on her pinky finger.
The ring was De Beers“ ”Enchanted Lotus“ ring, with 5.74 carats of white diamonds in 18-karat white gold. She paired it with ”Aura" yellow diamond earrings by De Beers, weighing 4.07 carats, also in 18-karat white gold.
Jenny Slate's earrings that steal the show
Flowers were a theme at the 2023 Golden Globes, with actors like Eddie Redmayne and Diego Calvo wearing bold fabric flowers on their lapels.
Actress and writer Jenny Slate really had a look all her own with her green Rodarte dress, complete with floral embellishments.
The standout item, however, was Anabela Chan's colourful “Citrus Thea” chandelier earrings with floral chandelier. They probably contained gemstones from workshops, according to the designer's signature.
The size and shape of the earrings were absolutely worthy of the red carpet. But it was the color that made them much more interesting than the typical chandelier earring with diamonds.
The Anya Taylor-Joy moment
The actress Anya Taylor-Joy, wore rows of jewelry. While her yellow Christian Dior outfit is likely to be disliked. But the bold yellow gold, platinum and diamond Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger “Hands” bracelets and necklace matched. The hair and outfit, arguably, didn't make it.
The light look of Wednesday Adams
Maybe fans of “Wednesday” have dreamed of a high-fashion tribute to the show's eponymous character. But there wasn't even a hint of goth in Jenna Ortega's look, just a flowing, Greek-style Gucci dress and gorgeous rows of jewelry.
Of note were the perfect layered Tiffany & Co. necklaces with diamonds and white gold approximately 15, 16 and 18 inches in size.
Tyler James Williams' winning performance
Tyler James Williams has been on our television screens since his childhood. But as of Tuesday night, he's a Golden Globe-winning actor with excellent dress sense.
He accented his sleek, relaxed striped suit from Amiri with a statement pin. Although it gave the feel of antique jewelry, Williams' stylist, Ashley North, said the piece was a Dolce & Gabbana suit. Whether we're talking about fashion jewelry or high jewelry, good design is just good design.
North completed his look with Cartier diamond rings for a touch of fine jewellery.
Julia Garner's diamond tribute
“Ozark” actress Julia Garner at this year's Globes it was her turn to be a star. Her exquisite pink Gucci dress was adorned with rhinestones. With too many diamonds the look would be too much. That's why many stylists opt for a large pair of earrings and call it a day.
But Garner's stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, opted for a super-bold diamond De Beers Y-necklace, as well as simple diamond De Beers earrings. The result was the perfect jewelry-dress harmony, the perfect look to get a Golden Globe.
Hannah Einbinder giving the perfect 1950s glamour
Hannah Einbinder at the Globes imitated Betty Draper in “Mad Men” in her Carolina Herrera dress.
The glamorous yet demure combination of the twisted, rows of diamond necklaces with the many diamond bracelets provided just the detail to elevate the overall look 100 percent. All of the jewelry was from Tiffany & Co's “Victoria” collection.
While most would put on a diamond riviere and call it a day, the row and twist necklace gave it a different style.
Jeremy Pope's moment with the necklace over his collar
Men's fashion has, fortunately, grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. A wider variety of suits and accessories were presented at the 80th Globes than at previous awards ceremonies.
Actor Jeremy Pope wore a leather turtleneck and suit with sleek boots in a glamorous version of his “Matrix” style. His evening style was enhanced by a vintage Cartier “Panthere” necklace in white gold with white diamonds, which he wore over the turtleneck. Pope completed the look with several Cartier diamond rings.
The glamour of the 70s by Michaela Jaé Rodriguez
