“The beauty of this collection is that there is no prescription on who should wear these pieces or how they should be paired. It's entirely up to the wearer,” said De Beers CEO Céline Assimon.
Because they have versatile designs, the pieces can be worn alone or many together. Even combine them in infinite ways for every preference.
The seven-piece collection includes a mix of pendants, rings and bracelets. Four in 18-carat white gold and diamonds and three in 18-carat rose gold and black titanium.
Each piece incorporates the De Beers monogram with the outlines “D” and “B”. These have been engraved in lines that mimic the appearance of code or gears when viewed from the side. In this way they parallel the ambivalent nature of gender expression.
“The patterns have a secret code, but they also reflect striations visible in the rocks. These reveal the history of the land in which our diamonds were naturally formed.
De Beers RVL serves to signify our commitment to designing jewellery that allows our customers to express who they are. Also our heritage as pioneers in diamond excellence,” said Assimon.
