The 98th Academy Awards ceremony included a new category. Some old comedy sketches and an exciting list of super-production films that were contenders for the top awards. Bringing to the forefront on Sunday were the celebrity gems. Featuring large diamonds, unusual coloured gemstones and acclaimed jewellery designers. Like James de Givenchy, who took credit both on and off the stage.
The top Oscars were split between «One Battle After Another», which won six awards. Including Best Picture, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Both for Paul Thomas Anderson. And «Sinners,» which - much to the delight of the audience - won the Best Actor Oscar for the supremely talented Michael B. Jordan. As well as three other awards, including the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for director Ryan Coogler. But also the Oscar for Best Cinematography for Autumn Durald Arkapaw. The first woman ever to win in this category.
The awards for best performance of the night and the entire awards season go to Teyana Taylor from «One Battle». She wore a black and white Chanel dress embroidered with her children's names. And a set of Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry. She also wins the award for best behavior for her support of her fellow actresses. But also her enthusiasm for her film's multiple wins.
Among the key trends seen at the Dolby Theatre were choker necklaces that highlighted the face. Such as the diamond «De Beers London Metamorphosis Summer» necklace worn by Chase Infiniti, co-star of the film «One Battle». Elaborate earrings, like those worn by Rei Ami from Demon Hunter. Social media was buzzing with discussions about Byrne's look at the Oscars. Byrne was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role in «If I Had Legs I'd Kick You.» She wore a sculptural torque necklace by Taffin. With a 22.58-carat fancy yellow-brown Desert Diamond in the shape of a pear. All the fashion lovers had their eyes on Taylor and she did not disappoint them. Her stunning black and white dress was perfectly paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Including a platinum necklace with an 18+ carat diamond, as well as platinum and diamond earrings and rings.
Demi Moore
From Brat Pack to fashion queen at award shows, Moore continues to impress. A nominee last year and presenter this year, Moore wore a line of Boucheron jewelry.
