From 18 November 2025, designers, manufacturers, brands and jewellers can submit their applications for the INHORGENTA AWARD 2026. This award is among the most prestigious awards in the jewellery, watch and gemstone industry. It will also celebrate its 9th edition next year with new categories. But also a high-level jury and recognized media partners.

The award ceremony will take place on Saturday, 21 February 2026, for the first time at the Bavaria Filmstudios in Munich.

Since 2017, the INHORGENTA AWARD has been rewarding the most outstanding performance in design, crafts and retail. New cooperation with WirtschaftsWoche magazine

A particular originality is the cooperation with the WirtschaftsWoche magazine. The magazine, in cooperation with INHORGENTA, awards the «Luxury Watch of the Year | Public Choice» prize. An international jury of seven experts, appointed specifically for this category - including Gisbert L. Brunner (Uhrenkosmos.com), Robert-Jan Broer (Fratellowatches.com), Frank Geelen (Monochrome-Watches.com), Kristian Haagen (Kristianhaagen.com), Joern F. Kengelbach (WirtschaftsWoche), Pierre-André Schmitt (Bilanz) and Zurab Zazashvili (Swisswatches-Magazine.com) - pre-selects, on the basis of pre-defined selection criteria, 14 luxury watches, which are presented in the magazine. Readers then decide via online voting which watch will be awarded at the gala.

New categories boost specialised trade and watchmaking

In order to promote the niche trade and enhance the visibility of outstanding ideas, INHORGENTA, in cooperation with the GZ Goldschmiede Zeitung, is expanding its award portfolio with two new categories. The «Goldsmith of the Year» award honours workshops that stand out for their technical precision, creative originality and individual style. The Jeweler of the Year award distinguishes stores that create an exceptional shopping experience. Thanks to excellent service, advice, style and an innovative concept.

In 2026, there will also be a greater emphasis on the watch sector. With the new awards «Mechanical Clock of the Year» and «Clock Design of the Year (Quartz & Electronic)». Outstanding performance in the field of design, technology and craftsmanship will be honoured.

In addition, in 2026, the established Fine Jewelry, High Jewelry, Gemstone Design, Designer and Design Newcomer awards will again be presented. The winners will be selected by an international jury consisting of leading design and trade personalities. The jury is synonymous with professional excellence, independent judging and a passion for quality and craftsmanship.
