The year is fast approaching its end and the predictions for 2023 are beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This means it's time for Pantone to crown the shade that will influence design in the coming year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The colour institute named \u201cPantone 18-1750 Viva Magenta\u201d the colour of the year, 2023.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pantone described the shade as a \u201cvibrant red\u201d that achieves a balance between warm and cool tones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Metaphorically, the company described it as \u201cbrave and fearless\u201d. A force that has respect as its basis and foundation, rather than earning it through aggression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pantone said that Viva Magenta is an optimistic colour that represents exclusivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn recent years there have been transformations in many ways. About people's sense of self-determination and the way they think about well-being. As well as priorities and identity,\u201d said Laurie Pressman, vice president of the Pantone Color Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs a result, there is a space where we are free to explore and be accepted for exactly who we feel we are. Whether it's a cyber universe, a conventional space, or a magical blend of both.\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Pantone is highlighting the role of Viva Magenta not only in the physical world, but also in the digital world. It presented graphics, creations with the help of artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The color institute also highlighted the IRL hue, announcing the color of 2023 with a striking image at Art Basel Miami just completed called \u201cMagentaverse\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pantone x Artechouse exhibition included rooms that provided visual, auditory and tactile experiences. They also explored design, space and technology, Pantone said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs virtual worlds have become an important part of our daily lives, we seek inspiration from nature and what is real.\u201d This was explained by Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Viva Magenta, he said, is an inspiration from the cochineal insect that provides the natural pigment carmine.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
