Through 50 nominations, the first three prizes emerged, while 6 honorary awards were also given. The competition was organized by the Panhellenic Federation of Silver and Gold Jewelry Manufacturers and Watchmakers (POVAKO) in collaboration with the THESS-HELEXPO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1004\" height=\"588\" src=\"https:\/\/veneticomagazine.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/brabeia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25698\" srcset=\"https:\/\/veneticomagazine.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/brabeia.jpg 1004w, https:\/\/veneticomagazine.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/brabeia-300x176.jpg 300w, https:\/\/veneticomagazine.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/brabeia-768x450.jpg 768w, https:\/\/veneticomagazine.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/brabeia-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1004px) 100vw, 1004px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00abDETH-HELEXPO, together with POBAKOV, has been supporting the creative identity of the industry for decades. Because it knows that the future is written by the hands of the new generation.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inclusion of silver-making courses in the School of Fine Arts of the University of Ioannina is the best proof that this path has depth,\u00bb noted the CEO of THESS-HELEXPO, Mr. Andreas Mavrommatis, who also awarded the 1st prize.<sup>\u03bf<\/sup> award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On his part, the president of POBAK\u03a9, Mr. Petros Kalpakiades, also highlighted the very significant improvement in the jewelry designs submitted in recent years in the Competition. From the Department of Silver and Goldwork Metalworking of the municipality of Nea Smyrni. The 2nd award was received for the \u00abPezodromio\u00bb earrings by Ms. Elpida Grigoriadou from the EPAAS DYPA Orhokastrou. And the 3rd award was received by Ms. Maria Koutsoumpas from the Department of Metalworking of the municipality of Nea Smyrnis.<sup>\u03bf<\/sup> The award was presented to Ms. Theodora Kani. From the Department of Silver and Goldwork Metalworking of the municipality of Nea Smyrni for the bracelet \u00abAlthea, The Breath of the Earth\u00bb.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first honorary award was presented to Mr. Georgios Gountouras by the Department of Design Engineering of the University of Western Macedonia for the \u00abPerseverance in Life\u00bb pendant. The second honorary award was given to Ms. Eleni Kalogianni by ISAEK Mokume Art Studies for the \u00abEmerald Moon\u00bb necklace. The third honorary award was given to Mr. Nektarios Kamioniotis by SAEK Galatzio for the \u00abYellow Gold\u00bb earrings. Also, the fourth honorary award was received by Ms. Lilia Eleni Tsikiri Vestergarnd by ISAEK Educational Association for the \u00abReturn to Nature\u00bb bracelet.
