These designs are particularly appealing when designed to be worn in combination. Together, slender bands and rings with a pronounced curvature that fit together in endless combinations. This is precisely the intention behind Marie Cabriou\u2019s \u00abLuminous Line\u00bb collection for Marie Mas. As she stated to Only Natural Diamonds: \u00abOver time, these combinations can be passed down from one generation to the next. As they continue to be enriched, they become part of a family\u2019s story and legacy.\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abFrom one perspective, I think consumers have begun to get bored with typical rings. I think this is a new approach. Nevertheless, many styles feature general references to the retro aesthetic of the 1970s. If you look closely, you will discern references to the bold asymmetry of the decade. Also the abstract design language and the renewed love for yellow gold. Each of these rings could seamlessly fit into the aesthetic of the era, which ranged from \u2019groovy\u2019 to \u00abglam.\u00bb And they fit just as naturally into today's jewelry landscape, which loves references to the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designer Hiba Hysani of Zahn\u2011Z set a 1.48-carat Old European Cut diamond in her ZAHA ring.
