SPKTRL, a luxury technology brand founded by Katia de Lasteyrie, a former LVMH executive, officially launched its first product. A diamond ring that communicates key digital messages silently, without screens, noise or disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Called light ring, the jewellery aims to promote the idea of \u00absilent technology\u00bb. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

An elegant and non-intrusive form of technology designed to integrate seamlessly into the background. The ring uses colour as a way of communicating with the user. Colors can be fully personalized with the information they receive through a minimalist application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the press release, \u201cthe perfectly colorless diamond can be illuminated with a pale blue color to indicate a message from a loved one. While a vibrant magenta may suggest a critical work update. Almost all other notifications and calls will be ignored. So that users can process them collectively when they decide to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFeaturing a screen-free design, these messages are transmitted through a CVD diamond that has been grown in a laboratory. Chosen as much for its beauty as for its symbolism. A material created with precision by human ingenuity, not by chance. Visually and structurally identical to mined diamonds. Speaking about the ring in an interview with Women's Wear Daily, de Lasteyrie shared that unlike other smart jewellery that focuses more on the \u00abcalculating self and watching you\u00bb, the SPKTRL will be a \u00abkind of meta-technology, an additional layer that enables you to have better control of your time, of where your attention is focused\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SPKTRL will offer an alternative where phones can be kept away. <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

But their owners won't miss the few essential calls and messages that are essential to them. While both screen time and fragmented focus are growing concerns. SPKTRL offers a sophisticated solution to regain control of our digital habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
