Optimistic mood at the 36th KOSMIMA.

Increased traffic, positive feedback, numerous commercial contacts. 1,550 trade visitors at this year's event. Full satisfaction of exhibitors on attendance.

The 36th KOSMIMA International Jewellery, Watches, Precious Stones, Machinery and Equipment Exhibition, which took place from 5 to 7 November at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Centre, was completed with increased attendance and specifically 1,550 trade visitors, a very positive response and a large number of commercial contacts.

KOSMIMA, counted 40 exhibitors including exhibitors from India, Bulgaria, Turkey, Estonia and Italy. The presence of trade visitors was significant. In particular, Greek visitors came from Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Serres, Chalkidiki, Florina, Katerini, Pella, Volos, Xanthi. Also from Lefkada, Lasithi, Arcadia, Arta, Attica, Larissa, Chios, Corfu, Corfu, Kozani, Kavala, Kastoria, Veroia, Drama, Dodecanese, Alexandroupoli and Komotini. But the exhibition also attracted foreign trade visitors from Cyprus, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Kosovo and Turkey.

The increased size of this year's tourist season was reflected in the event. Professionals in the industry came back determined to trade and stock their shops with new merchandise. The exhibitors even expressed their complete satisfaction with the turnout of trade visitors. They also made contact with new customers.

The optimistic atmosphere created at the exhibition is expected to lead to an increased attendance of exhibitors and visitors at the ATHENS INTERNATIONAL JEWELLERY SHOW that will take place from 3 to 6 March 2023 in Athens.

In the framework of KOSMIMA, the 33rd Panhellenic Jewellery Design Competition on the theme «1922-2022: Asia Minor in Greek Jewellery 100 years later» was organized by the Panhellenic Federation of Craftsmen, Jewellers and Watchmakers (POVAKO) in cooperation with TIF-Helexpo. The works were presented during the exhibition.

The next appointment for KOSMIMA in Thessaloniki is on 21-23 October 2023.
