The 38th Athens International Jewellery Show (AIJS) took place at the Metropolitan Expo from February 27th to March 2nd, with enhanced exhibition dynamics and an expanded commercial horizon.
The largest industrial exhibition for jewelry and watches in the country was a venue for constructive business meetings and the establishment of new commercial agreements.
AIJS achieved its strategic goal of further penetrating foreign markets. Attracting trade visitors from Greece and 29 additional countries. Marking a significant increase compared to the 18 countries of origin from the previous year (2025).
Commercial visitors came from the: USA, China, India, Canada, Russia, Australia, Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Finland. Also Israel, Albania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Lebanon, Egypt, Armenia, Estonia, Sri Lanka, Lithuania, Moldova, and Turkey.
The attraction of targeted commercial visitors validates TIF-HELEXPO's strategy for creating high added value exhibitions. Exhibitions that promote the extroversion of domestic productive sectors.
Within the framework of the event's parallel activities, topics such as the structure, trends, demand, and growth rates of diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and emeralds in the global market were discussed, as well as precious and semi-precious stones from Greece.
