On Sunday 22/10 the following parallel events will take place:
11:30: Presentation of prizes and commendations to the contestants of the 34th Jewellery Design Competition
13:30: “Synthetic diamonds: Similarities and differences between synthetic and mineral diamonds at laboratory and commercial levels”. (Speaker: George Spyromilios, founder of IGLcert, qualified gemologist - diamondologist and appraiser).
15:00: “The secrets of Emeralds” (Speaker:Eva Kountouraki GG, AJP, JBM, GEMOLOGIST - Adamantologist).
Diversity: the theme of the 34th Jewellery Design Competition.
How can diversity be expressed through a piece of jewellery?;
The answer is given through the creations of 34 designers who drew their inspiration from common experiences and the perceptions offered by art, literature, nature and history.
The presentation of the projects will take place in the framework of KOSMIMA 2023 in a specially designed area at stand 16.
