To begin with, the new Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Reference 6300GR-001 is a mixed metal version of the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime. It was first introduced in 2014 as a limited edition before the current collection in 2016.
The Grandmaster Chime is Patek's most complicated watch with 20 movements.
It also includes five ringing modes, an alarm that rings a preset time and a date dial that shows the date on demand.
Ref. 6300GR-001 is available in white and rose gold. It still features two brown opaline dials and a handmade “Clou de Paris”, or hobnob motif, on the side showing the date. The wide brown alligator strap closes with a mixed metal buckle in white and rose gold.
The price is available on request.
Gemstone lovers and lovers of innovation will prefer the high jeweled version, the Grandmaster Chime Haute Joaillerie Reference 6300/403G-001. This model features a rotating dial with a completely different look and features.

Minute repeaters
Patek Philippe says it has the largest selection of minute repeater wristwatches in a brand's current collection, and now there are two more in the “Rare Handmade” category.
The brand's first model that always shows local time, the new Rare Handcrafts World Time Minute Repeater Reference 5531G-001, is the first World Time Minute Repeater watch to be in white gold.
The Grand Feu cloisonné enamel on the dial also depicts a steamer on Lake Geneva. The price of the watch is available on request.
The new Rare Handcrafts Minute Repeater Reference 5178G-012 has an automatic mechanism and “cathedral-style” gongs, so named for their deep, rich sound. The new dial also features a blue Grand Feu flinqué enamel on a handmade swirl pattern.
Its price is also available from Patek Philippe upon request.
The entire Rare Handcrafts collection is a collection of unique or limited edition pieces. Such as dome table clocks, desk clocks and pocket watches, in addition to wristwatches.
The complete 2023 Rare Handcrafts series, comprising 67 pieces, will be on display to the public at the Patek Philippe salons in Geneva from 1 to 15 April.
