“Le Vian's trend forecast for 2023 crosses the emotions and conclusions of our time. It then connects them to jewellery that expresses those feelings,” the company said in a statement.
Le Vian's Red Carpet Revue is in its 23rd year. It served as a fundraiser to support children's charities. Such as St Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Jewelers for Children, as well as Diamonds Do Good.
“Over the last two decades, we have been identifying style trends, looking for the elements in high fashion. Also in celebrity red carpet dressing as well as consumer behaviors. That is what we collect from sales at the thousands of daily jewellery shows we organise every year. At these we present unique original pieces from hundreds of new collections,” said Eddie Le VIan, CEO of the jewellery company.
“However, for our 2023 trend forecasts we have turned our attention to emotions. Emotions we find at the core of jewellery market decisions. We focus on consumer emotions that reflect the current and express the mood of the moment in society. This is an important step for the future of our family business. I am pleased to say that nine members of the next generation have already joined it over the past two decades.”.

Alive! Beautiful Creations Beautiful creations
After a turbulent two years, a primal desire to connect with life itself, nature and a sense of rebirth, created Le Vian's Beautiful Creations collection. The collection features original, visual depictions of the creations of creatures that inhabit the land, air and sea.
Le Vian's collections cover the heavenly creatures of earth, air and sea that dominate Le Vian's jewellery. First up are dogs, long known as man's best friends. They symbolize loyalty, family, devotion, patience and perseverance. Finally, the fish denote rebirth, fertility, good luck, health and the butterflies, reminiscent of transformation.

For 2023, Le Vian predicts the exciting allure of Periwinkle, featuring blue in varying shades of pink and purple. Inspired by clear warm blue skies, ethereal waters and deep blue seas. It is the blue that brings us calm, a state of inner peace. We seek it whenever the backdrop of our lives and our world presents chaos and conflict.
Blues have long been associated with relaxation, calm contemplation, dreamy moments and tranquility. Blueberry Tanzanite® is a gemstone found only in Arusha, Tanzania. It captivates with its blue hues and tones that change with the light. While Blueberry Sapphire™ and Cornflower Ceylon Sapphire™ are prized for their vibrant Periwinkle blue hue and stately purple hues.
