The INHORGENTA 2022 awards will take place during Europe's leading trade fair for watches, jewellery and gemstones for the fifth time. In particular, the expert jury has now selected three finalists in each of the six categories. In addition, there will be nominees from the online voting “Retailer's Choice”. The winners will be announced and celebrated by the who's who of the industry at a gala evening on 9 April. INHORGENTA MUNICH will open its doors from 8 to 11 April.

These are the 2022 finalists
Timeless jewellery, elegant and with solid value - these are the characteristics of the “Fine Jewelry” category. The participating jewellery starts at a retail price of 1,000 euros. Here, due to a tie vote, the jury nominated another candidate. As a result, the finalists are as follows: Autore Europe, Bigli, Ipar Gioielli and Nanis Italian Jewels. Next, the category “Fashion Jewelry” is for jewelry as accessories of the latest fashion trends and with a retail price below EUR 1,000. In particular, the nominees are BERND WOLF, COEUR DE LION and Cuckoowelen.
Unparalleled design, innovation and craftsmanship will be honoured in the “Designer of the Year” category. Here we find the companies Breuning, ED | T. Ehrig Design | Engineering N. Drösser and Brigitte Adolph who can hope for the award. Next, in the “Design Newcomer” category we find future talents with self-made jewellery or watches. Carbon Ring, 202 EDITIONS and Lena Grewenig occupy the first places in this category.
Also in the “Watch Design” category, which is also determined by the specificity of the design. In this case, Citizen Watch Europe, Frederique Constant and MeisterSinger were convincing. Finally, we have the “Next Generation Retail” category. The innovative retail concepts of egf Manufaktur/Lukas Grewenig, Juwelier Böckelmann and PERSN earned a nomination here.
“Every year, each jewel reflects so much passion and dedication - it's exciting to see,” says jury member Anja Heiden, a member of the WEMPE executive board. The jury also includes. Brunner, watch expert and author, Sarah Fabergé (Director of Special Projects Fabergé), Jantje Fleischhut (Professor of Design of New Craft Objects), Siems Luckwaldt (Lifestyle Director “Capital” and “Business Punk”), jewellery designer Leo Mathild, designer Patrik Muff, founder and editor-in-chief Katerina Perez and Nina Schwichtenberg, blogger and fashion label owner.
